Hi there! I’m Ana—an artist, embroiderer, sewer, and lifelong craft lover. I run this small business alongside my husband, Paulo, who’s always by my side helping make this dream possible.
For the past six years, we’ve been building this small business together—from designing and testing countless products for our sewing business to now sharing our digital creations with fellow crafters around the world.
From Crafting Hobbyist to Family Business
Crafting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was always the kid making things with my hands. A few years ago, while working a demanding full-time job, I turned to crafting as a way to relax—and quickly fell in love, especially with sewing and machine embroidery.
In 2019, during my maternity leave, Paulo joined me and we started selling our handmade creations—juggling parenthood, our jobs, and a growing business.
By 2021, I proudly made crafting my full-time career—something we’ve been building on ever since, side by side.
What Makes Tricky Creations Unique
Over the years, we’ve designed and tested many embroidery patterns for our own products. That hands-on experience helped us create digital files we know other crafters will love and trust.
Recently, we also started designing our own seamless fabric patterns—bringing a fresh level of creativity to our offerings. These digital designs are perfect for crafting and adding a unique personality to any project.
